The Jean-Félicien Gacha Foundation, supported by Espace Culturel Gacha, will build a nursery school in the locality of Dogba, in the Maroua II district of northern Cameroon. Active in the field of education and training since 2002, the Foundation has already been involved in the construction of five nursery schools, two elementary school, the monitoring of educational projects and the training of teachers by expert and professional volunteers.
It was in this context that the Dogba nursery school project was presented last June at a ceremony presided over by the sub-prefect of Maroua II, on the esplanade of the local chiefdom. The sub-prefect, Julien Plom, expressed his joy and gratitude for the construction of this school, which meets a real local need.
This project provides access to education and training, as well as the transmission of skills and knowledge, values dear to the Jean-Félicien Gacha Foundation.
